オートキャンプやってみませんか？（Why don't you try auto camp?）

本日も曇り空、そして、脊椎への投薬が完了し、来週の水曜日のブラッドパッチ療法へむけて、絶賛安静中のＢｕｒａｉです。
私は今年の夏は、ずっと涼しい病院の中で過ごしていましたが、外はだいぶ涼しくなってきたようですね。
今週の４連休では、キャンプをしている家族が多数いたようですが、皆さんはいかがでしたでしょうか？
新型コロナウイルス感染対策で、大勢でのキャンプをお断りしているところや、キャンプ自体を休業しているところもあるようです。
少人数であれば、キャンプが可能なところもありますので、密にならない空間で、紅葉を見ながらキャンプしてはいかがでしょうか。
そもそもオートキャンプって何でしょう。
改めて聞かれると、「車でやるキャンプ」じゃないの？と思われるかもしれませんが、今はそれでも間違いではないようです。
実はこの言葉、和製英語らしいですよ。
もともとの意味は、キャンピングカーやバイク、自転車なんかにキャンプ用品を積んで、旅行しながらキャンプをすることを、オートキャンプというらしいです。
キャンプ好きの友達から聞いて、私も和製英語だったことに驚きでした。
そこで、鹿児島県内でオートキャンプ場としてネット上に登録してある数を確認してみたら、ざっと24か所もありました。
結構あるんですね。
全国で探したら、何か所あるんだろう。。。
それでは、私が各オートキャンプ場のホームページや、実際行ったことがあるオートキャンプ場のご紹介をしたいと思います。

整備が行き届いており、とてもきれいな公園です。オートキャンプ場もとてもきれいだったので、とても快適に過ごせます。ログハウスも６棟あります。ただ、生活用品については、布団を含め備え付けがありませんので、あらかじめホームページで確認したり、直接電話で問い合わせてください。

布団やバーベキューセットは管理事務所へご相談いただくとレンタルできそうです。また、温泉や露天風呂がありとても有意義に過ごせます。バンガローも８棟ありフリーテントのサイトもあります。また、登っていくと巨大な遊具があり、日中は子供も大人も飽きることはないと思います。カフェもあるので、疲れたら一息ついてはいかがでしょうか。

このキャンプ場はまだ行ったことがありませんが、オートキャンプ場のサイトがなんと４０区画もあるということで、密になる心配もないのではないでしょうか。また、バンガローが大小合わせて１１棟、大型常設テントが６張、フリーテントサイトが２０サイトあり、とても大きなキャンプ場となっています。サッカー場、ローラースケート場、貸自転車もあり、とても有意義に過ごせそうな公園になっています。
どのキャンプ場もおすすめですが、皆さんは、どのキャンプ場へ行きたいですか？
また、どこでキャンプをしましたか？
今回は鹿児島県本土のキャンプ場をご紹介しましたが、奄美大島や種子島など、離島にも素敵なキャンプ場がありますので、いつかそちらもご紹介できればと思います。

What is auto camp in the first place?
When asked again, isn't it a "camping by car"? You might think, but now it doesn't seem to be a mistake.
Actually, this word seems to be Japanese English.
The original meaning is that camping by loading camping equipment on a camper, motorcycle, bicycle, etc. while traveling is called auto camp.
I was very surprised to hear that the word auto camp is Japanese English from a friend who loves camping.
So, when I checked the number of auto campsites registered on the net in Kagoshima prefecture, there were roughly 24 places.
There are quite a few.

Futons and barbecue sets can be rented by consulting with the management office. In addition, there are hot springs and open-air baths, so you can spend a very meaningful time. There are 8 bungalows and a free tent site. Also, as you climb up, you will find huge playground equipment, and I think that children and adults will never get bored during the day. There is also a cafe, so if you get tired, why not take a break?

I haven't been to this campsite yet, but since there are 40 lots of auto campsite sites, I think there is no need to worry about getting crowded. In addition, there are 11 bungalows, large and small, 6 large permanent tents, and 20 free tent sites, making it a very large campsite. There is also a soccer field, roller skates, and bicycle rental, making it a very meaningful park.
